Although my heart will go onto the E30, the Mercedes-Benz 190E is a desirable car!

I love that rally version with the big AMG rims. So great. Also the 190E 2.6-16 E2 is one of the most bad-ass looking (and driving?) cars of all time.

I honestly think I'd take ta 190E AMG over a E30 M3 just for the pure fact that you almost never see them.

Any affection I have for he E30 comes from bandwagoning. My love for the W201 comes directly from the heart.

I can't tell if he's clapping out of begrudging reluctance, or condescending dismissal.

What kind of powerplant came in the 190E?
Forgive me, an uninitiated neophyte.

He likes what he sees, so hes making sure everyone else is clapping in accordance. He had a weird childhood, so hes awkward.

Check it, yo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/190E
The ones being ogled here are the 2.3 liter and 2.5 liter 16-valve ones, which had Cosworth tuned heads. These were racing homologation specials, and had additional suspension and bodywork like the flared fenders also. Most 190E's were not so special.

By the end of things, I think i'm going to own at least two 190E.
My first car, which is an 88 that I dropped a M103 3.0 into and hope to find a 5 speed for, as well as a project car that I want to replicate an EVO with. The body kit is easy, it's just which powerplant to use and how to get a good interior.
